Hi Friends, As it was raining here last weekend , I could'nt go out much. So spent time in customizing the blog's interface. Hope you all like the new appearance of the blog. Since its time for valentine's day crafts i see many challenges theme to be " love". Hence today am sharing with you a 3D valentine card.
I did this project by recycling old ointment and cereal boxes. Since am making this project in valentine theme i chose the pattern papers of the colours red, white, pink and black.
I did this project by recycling old ointment and cereal boxes. Since am making this project in valentine theme i chose the pattern papers of the colours red, white, pink and black.
This is the first time am using a digital stamp. This stamp i got it from 'A day for daisies online shop. I coloured the digital image using watercolour pencils.
I pasted two hearts on both the sides of the card and decided to write quotes related to heart and love. On one side of the card the quote " Come live in my heart and pay no rent " is handwritten with black marker.
On the other side of the card I wrote the quote " My heart is perfect because you are inside". The borders are crocheted using 'g' hook
On the top of the card i sketched the word love using markers and gliter pens and added a shining heart.
Handmade foam sheet flowers were used as embellishments.

This is not only a 3D card but also a beautiful showcase item. Hope you all liked it.

Creative craft challenges - created this card with the recipe - 1 digital image mailing my love, 1 sentiment, 2 different papers ( red and black) , 2 different type of embellishments - ( foam rose and black flower)
